About Dr. Neema Bak – Periodontist & Dental Implant Specialist in Los Angeles
Dr. Neema Bak is a board-certified periodontist and dental implant specialist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy smiles through advanced periodontal and implant care. He is the founder of BAK Implant Studio in Los Angelesand currently serves as the Director of the Biomedical Implants and Tissue Engineering (BITE) Program at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry.
Education & Professional Training
After completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, Dr. Bak earned his PhD in Bone Biology from Florida State University, where his research focused on bone regeneration and healing. He then completed his subspecialty residency in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at USC, one of the nation’s leading training programs.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Bak has achieved the highest professional recognition in his specialty, reflecting rigorous training, clinical expertise, and commitment to evidence-based care.

Dr. Bak has published extensively in bone grafting, tissue engineering, and implant dentistry, contributing to the advancement of modern periodontal therapies.
