Our Story
Dr. Bak is a board-certified periodontist and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration, a distinction awarded to dental professionals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to advancing the science and clinical practice of implant dentistry. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, a credential earned by specialists who meet the highest standards of expertise and patient care.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2005, completed a PhD in Bone Biology in 2011, and finished his specialty training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2014.
With over 20 years of clinical experience in dental implants, bone grafting, and tissue regeneration, Dr. Bak currently serves as Director of the Implant Master Program at USC and remains an active faculty member. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and is frequently invited to speak at national and international dental conferences. Patients throughout Los Angeles and Southern California seek Dr. Bak for his expertise in delivering evidence-based, minimally invasive implant and periodontal care.
